Axial component
preparation machine
SMA 600
Universal cutting, bending and crimping machine for processing
belted components with axial leads.
Machine description:
•
Lead diameters from 0.4 to 1.3 mm without tool exchange
•
Tape grid 5, 10, and 15 mm
•
Adjustable output: up to 8000 units per hour (depending on
tape quality and lead diameter)
•
Component body is tension released during processing; 4-5
kg elastic
•
Minimal pressure marks on the wire during bending with
adjustable, spring-suspended bending reels
•
Crimping deepness is infinitely adjustable
•
Bending angle of the wire is adjustable
•
Grid dimension (2.5 - 60 mm) and pin length (3 - 30 mm) are
readable on a digital display and infinitely adjustable
•
Parameters and belt width are adjustable via turning knobs
(located outside of the machine)
•
Repeat accuracy of parameters ± 0.05 mm
•
Machine is PLC-controlled (SABO) and switches off
automatically under the following conditions: nominal pieces
reached, end of or failure in tape --> error messages are
displayed
•
Counter integrated in controller
•
Language selection: English, German, French
•
Tools are driven by cam discs
•
Electric drive with tooth belt (three-phase motor)
•
Machine is very low-maintenance since linear guides are
located at moving parts (feed unit, bending unit, tension
release, tape feeding)
•
Tape feeding takes place at the front of the machine
•
Tape rest slides out at the rear of the machine
•
Components drop into ESD-box below the machine
•
Operation voltage: 230V/50Hz (standard), other voltages are
available on demand
•
Length x width x height (without accessories): 600 x 500 x
510 mm
•
Weight: approx. 53 kg (without accessories)
Bending forms
Axial component
preparation machine
SMA 600
Description:
•
Through easy exchangeable tools (2-3 min) it is possible to
manufacture the below mentioned standard forms
•
Special forms are also possible
•
Tools made with carbide to guarantee high durability
•
Tools illustration: see right
Bending form 1:
•
Cutting and bending from 0.4 - 1.3 mm lead diameters
•
Body diameter max. 35 mm
•
With a printed circuit board thickness of 1.6 mm, the lead
penetration depth is then 1.5 ± 0.1 mm (standard)
•
Distance between body and bending radius depends on the
width of the used bending finger
•
Options: 1.0 …1.2 …1.5 mm (standard = 1.5 mm)
Bending form 2:
•
Snap-in cutting, bending, and crimping
•
Lead diameters from 0.4 - 0.9 mm
•
Body diameter max. 35 mm
•
With a printed circuit board thickness of 1.6 mm, the lead
penetration depth is then 1.5 ± 0.1 mm (standard)
Bending form 3:
•
Standoff cutting, bending and crimping
•
Lead diameters from 0.4 - 1.3 mm
•
Body diameter max. 35 mm
•
With a printed circuit board thickness of 1.6 mm, the lead
penetration depth is then 1.5 ± 0.1 mm (standard).
Bending form 4:
•
Upright / crimping shapes: snap-in, standoff and straight
cutting
•
Lead diameters from 0.4 - 0.9 mm without tool exchange
•
Body diameter max. 5 mm
•
With a printed circuit board thickness of 1.6 mm, the lead
penetration depth is then 1.5 ± 0.1 mm (standard)
